Their latest album Blood for Blood is the album that HELLYEAH – featuring Mudvayne’s Chad Gray on vocals, Pantera’s Vinnie Paul on drums and Nothingface’s Tom Maxwell on guitar – has always wanted to make. Maxwell, rocking one of his signature Wornstar hats, sat down with Rockaholic’s Sherri “So Very” Crawford after the band’s raging performance at the 4th annual Carolina Rebellion, where he described the fourth studio effort as "Beautifully Brutal.”

He says it allowed the band to be musically “uninhibited” and break out of a party-metal pigeonhole. The guitarist, who took on a larger songwriting role in Blood for Blood, says that – and parting ways with two of its former members – finally gave the band the album it took seven years to make.

The band also worked with producer Kevin Churko for the first time, who’s resume includes OZZY OSBOURNE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, IN THIS MOMENT, and others. The band recently embarked on their headlining tour with support from Devour the Day. For tour dates and more details, visit HELLYEAH's website.
