Slipknot's Corey Taylor gives update on Mick Thomson's stabbing

By Sherri "So Very" Crawford | Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor updated fans via Twitter on the condition of the band's guitarist Mick Thomson, after reports that Thomson was stabbed.

Reportedly, Thomson and his brother Andrew got into a knife fight while drinking Wednesday, where Thomson suffered a stab wound to the back of the head. According to Loudwire, both men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, Taylor tweeted updates on the incident that occurred outside Thomson's home in Clive, Iowa (below). Slipknot is slated for a number of festivals and tour dates, starting April 25 at the Fort Rock Festival, followed by Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and others.
