Director of the HBO documentary Brett Morgen revealed the info. on Twitter. The film is slated for it's TV premier on May 4, while it's world premier was held at January's Sundance Film Festival.
According to Rolling Stone magazine, Montage of Heck is the first documentary to be made with the cooperation of the late Nirvana frontman's family. It's said to include personal, archival footage that will chronicle Cobain's 27 years on earth.
Cobain's daughter Frances Bean was the project's executive director. Other previously unreleased tracks will be featured in the film, as well.
