By Sherri "So Very" Crawford |  Chicago alt-hard rockers Chevelle announced a Spring 2015 Tour, joining co-headliners The Used.  The short U.S. trek kicks off May 4 in Ala., following Chevelle's anticipated performance at this year's Carolina Rebellion, on May 2.

Chevelle continues touring in support of their best charting album to date, La Gargola. The band's 7th studio album was released in April 2014, featuring hits Take Out the Gunman, and more.

Of La Gargola, guitarist and frontman Pete Loeffler says, "…we experimented with a lot of stomp boxes, vintage amps, effects, and tools that we never had in the past. It nods to the spirit of Sci-Fi Crimes, but we went further than ever. I had a clear path I wanted to follow."

Meanwhile, The Used will be touring without guitarist Quinn Allman. The band announced that "Quinn will be taking a temporary hiatus from the band for the next year....and look forward to the day he rejoins us on the road." Justin Shekoski of Saosin is filling in for Allman.
