By Sherri "So Very" Crawford | Scorching could be said for the weather but more notably of the music/lineup, at the 4th annual Carolina Rebellion, that went down in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The weekend of melt-your-face-off rock featured heavy hitters, including Denmark’s Volbeat – who deftly delivered a stellar set Saturday - Rob Zombie, Anthrax, Avenged Sevenfold, HELLYEAH, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Kid Rock, Seether, and more.
Rob Zombie’s performance stole Saturday night’s show, with a set design fit for the horror-movie maven. Headliners A7X had a tough act to follow but they delivered in full glam-metal glory. 2014 breakout band Nothing More took one of the fest’s three stages by storm early Sunday, with Five Finger Death Punch and Kid Rock closing out the entire show.

With roughly 40,000 rock fest fans and some of the “rage-enest” bands, the energy was nearly unstoppable. For deets on THIS YEAR's event, featuring Marilyn Manson, In This Moment, Slayer, Rise Against, and more, visit Carolina Rebellion - and see the 2015 LINEUP below.
